Where affiliate links appear
Only in guides, such as buying guides for e-bikes and e-scooters. Every guide with affiliate links says so above the first one. The links go through a short address on our site starting with /go/, so we can count clicks.
What they don't affect
Shop listings are free. A shop can't pay to be listed, to rank higher or to be marked Verified, and affiliate deals have no effect on which shops appear. Guides recommend products on specs, price and how well they suit Canadian riding. When a store's commission changes, the recommendation doesn't.
Why we use them
Commissions pay for running the site, and for the gear we'll eventually test ourselves. Until we've ridden a product, our guides rely on published specs and Canadian rules, and say so.
